Ecotech Gts engines

equipped with electromagnetic brakes with negative operation

The delphi ATDC, AT24, ATTD and ATTD24 series self-braking motors require the use of pressure brakes of DC-powered springs, keyed firmly on a cast iron shield at the rear of the motor. They are fitted as standard with various devices normally considered optional by other brands, such as: The manual release lever, which allows the brake to be released and the possibility of maneuvering in the absence of power, PTO bi-metal thermal protectors immersed in the motor winding up to size 132 and PTC thermistors from size 160 on Easy separate supply of the brake if the motor is powered by an inverter. The rectifiers of the ATDC and ATTD motors are in fact equipped with a terminal block for this purpose, while the AT24 and ATTD24 are equipped with 24V brakes in order to be powered directly by the separate 24V outputs of which most of the inverters are equipped.
